Cloud providers must comply with the applicable TX-RAMP framework and complete continuous monitoring requirements to maintain certification.

Section 2054.0593(a) defines cloud computing services as having the meaning assigned by Special Publication 800-145 issued by the US Department of Commerce National Institute of Standards and Technology. This definition includes SaaS products within scope. As BoldDesk is a SaaS product, we fall under the scope of TX-RAMP's definition of ‘cloud provider.’
BoldDesk maintains a TX-RAMP Level 2 Certification. This is the minimum level required for cloud computing services that may process, store, or transmit any state agency data which has been determined to be confidential or have a moderate to high impact information resource.
