Syncfusion Completes Rigorous Audit, Confirming SOC® 2 and HIPAA Compliance

Essential Studio and Bold Products Again Prove Commitment to Data Security

Research Triangle Park, NC, Feb. 13, 2026—Syncfusion®, Inc., a leading software development company, is pleased to announce the successful completion of its System and Organization Controls (SOC) 2® Type 2 audit covering its Essential Studio® and Bold product lines, along with an independent HIPAA assessment focused on the Bold product lines.

The SOC 2® examination was conducted in accordance with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ (AICPA) AT‑C Section 205, Reporting on Controls at a Service Organization. SOC 2® engagements evaluate an organization’s controls against the AICPA Trust Services Criteria, which address security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy.

As part of this independent assessment, Syncfusion elected to report on all five Trust Services Criteria, demonstrating a comprehensive and mature approach to data protection and system reliability. The SOC 2® Type 2 report provides assurance regarding the design, implementation, and operating effectiveness of internal controls over an extended review period.

In addition to the SOC 2® Type 2 audit, Syncfusion successfully completed a HIPAA assessment evaluating its controls against key provisions of the HIPAA regulations. The HIPAA assessment scope included the following categories:

  • HIPAA – General Provisions (A)
  • HIPAA – Security Rule (C)
  • HIPAA – Breach Notification Rule (D)
  • HIPAA – Privacy Rule (E)

This assessment reviewed Syncfusion’s administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of protected health information (PHI) and electronic protected health information (ePHI), further supporting customers operating in regulated healthcare environments.

The SOC 2® audit and HIPAA assessment were performed by Pease Bell CPAs, an independent public accounting firm. Testing included a detailed examination of policies, procedures, and controls across critical operational areas, including cloud security, network connectivity, system development life cycle, computer operations, logical access, data transmission, backup and disaster recovery, and incident response. Upon completion of the SOC 2® engagement, Syncfusion received an unqualified Service Auditor’s Report, confirming that its controls meet or exceed applicable SOC 2® criteria.

“The successful completion of our SOC 2® Type 2 examination and HIPAA assessment provides our customers with confidence that the controls and safeguards we use to protect their data align with industry standards and regulatory expectations,” said Daniel Jebaraj, CEO of Syncfusion.

Syncfusion recognizes that information is one of an organization’s most valuable assets. Through independent, third‑party assessments and a strong control environment, Syncfusion demonstrates its ongoing commitment to safeguarding sensitive data and mitigating risks associated with information processing and storage.
